About us:

We are looking for committed and experienced colleagues for the social services of our youth welfare office. Join us full-time or part-time. The position is permanent. Our work takes place in regional social teams, which include the general social service, youth support/juvenile court assistance and social pedagogical family support.

Your tasks:

• Counseling parents and their children with the aim of resolving conflicts and crises on their own responsibility
• Continuous help planning in accordance with SGB VIII, taking into account the family systems, use of suitable help and its management
• Performing the protection mandate for children and adolescents in cases of child endangerment
• Involvement in family court proceedings
• Collaboration with cooperation partners (schools, daycare centers, police, etc.)

Personal requirements:

We are looking for people who:

• Have a degree in social work/social pedagogy or a comparable degree in social work
• would like to work independently with an advisory team in the background
• want a job in which your advisory and methodological knowledge as well as your skills in documentation and reporting come into play
• act de-escalatingly and constructively in conflict situations
• have a social space-oriented and systemic view and work in a parent-activating way
• are mobile (driving license class B and usable vehicle)
