Maintenance engineer/electronics technician (m/f/d)

Location: Jülich, North Rhine-Westphalia

Responsibilities/main tasks:

• Ensuring the technical availability of the machines and systems in operation in compliance with occupational safety, environmental and GMP requirements
• Autonomous fault analysis and rectification on machines and systems
• Troubleshooting on programmable logic controllers (PLC), robot systems and in the field of drive technology
• Performing maintenance and inspection work on production and peripheral systems
• Assembly and repair of electronic assemblies
• Performing and preparing conversions and system installations
• Implementation of technical improvement proposals throughout the plant
• Collaborating to establish and ensure order, safety and cleanliness in the department
• Supporting the installation and expansion of machinery
• Reading and understanding electrical and wiring diagrams
• Performing and organizing safety-related tests in accordance with DGUV regulations after professional training

Qualifications/requirements:

• Completed training as an electronics technician (m/f/d), specializing in industrial engineering desirable
• Extensive professional experience in the maintenance of production systems
• Ideally knowledge of electronics, control technology and Step7/TIA portal
• Targeted, solution-oriented and committed way of working
• High level of initiative and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to be on call
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Written and spoken German
• English language skills desirable
